Why Can't I Get High On CBG Alone?

This is due to the fact that most hemp has very little CBG; most hemp only includes trace amounts of CBG. There are now a few hemp strains that contain 20% CBD in the crop. If the CBG content of the same crop is only 1%, you'll need to extract 20 times the quantity of biomass to extract the same amount of CBG.

In Canada, it appears that LPs have not been mass-producing CBG.

hypothesisjournal.com wrote an extensive guide on purchasing CBG in the UK.

CBG is a neuro protector, and out of all the cannabinoids, it does the best job at that.

This Leaves Cultivators With

A Choice...

They're forced to either grow cannabis with the express purpose of producing CBG, meaning that they can harvest the crop early before this conversion completes; or allow the crop to fully mature so that some of the crops can be sold for other purposes but the rest will have a lower CBG content for extraction.

As well as requiring larger amounts of plant material compared to THC or CBD extraction, CBG extraction also requires the use of specialized production equipment.

Due to the low levels of CBG present in cannabis strains, the chromatography apparatus that is used to isolate and purify CBG extracts needs to be as precise as possible; to not necessitate using even more raw cannabis or hemp material than is necessary.

Does CBD Have Any Health Benefits?

Personally, I've been using CBD in my everyday life, and it has helped in unimaginable ways. From PMS symptoms, Endometrial pains, PTSD and, even my arthritis. I do not take tylenol or midol as it has never helped the way I needed it to and has always giving me terrible grogginess.

Dosing is dependent on the person, what they've eaten that day and, how their digestive system reacts with the CBD. For some a reaction and effect can be felt in less than half an hour, for others, 2-5 hours to feel the effects they're looking for.

Why does CBD help though?

"The body produces endocannabinoids, which are neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors in your nervous system. Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters."

Meaning, when you take CBD, the endocannabinoids are directed to which ever neurotransmitters are acting up, say you have pain in your right shoulder, the CBD endocannabinoids will go straight for those pain receptors located in your nervous system.
